After three years, in 1972, the school grew even larger because word got around about Teacher Anne’s record and her dedication to education. The school moved to a bigger place in Rizal Village, Makati. The number of enrollees continued growing to nearly 100 students; so the school had to again move to another location... to a bigger house... at San Lorenzo Village, Makati.
Most of the students of the school then came from the South - BF Homes, Tahanan Village, and United Parañaque in Parañaque City. So, by 1980, the school operated in two locations: San Lorenzo Village, Makati and at Tahanan Village, Parañaque. Enrollment at both schools kept growing until it became difficult to manage. It was then that they decided to close the Makati school.
In 1991, the parents requested Teacher Anne to start a Grade School; so, Grade 1 was established. Every year, thereafter, one grade level was added. In 1997, TLC graduated the first batch of Grade 7 students.
Now, after 39 years of TLC’s existence, TLC offers not only Preschool and Grade School, it also offers Kumon Math and Reading, Taekwondo, Piano, Voice and Guitar lessons. It has a comprehensive Computer Program, an inclusion Program for children with special needs, an ESL program for non-English speakers, and a Pilipino Enrichment Program.
Sharing the role of leadership with Teacher Anne in this educational journey is her Assistant Director, Teacher Tess, another educator . . . and the mission continues".

History

The school in Tahanan Village became known as The Learning Child. It became known as an established learning institution in the South. Two years later, because of its continuous growth in the number of students, the school had to move to Justice Jugo St. in BF Homes, Parañaque. It stayed six years at BF Homes, and in 1988, it moved to where it is now... 111 Cordillera Street, Ayala Alabang Village in Muntinlupa City.
As TLC undertakes its teaching mission, it plants in the students the foundation to make them Christian leaders of tomorrow.
